Diu Island

Diu Island is the very close to the Sarastro Beach of the Gujarat Province. It is in the India. This Island is surrounded with the sea beach. Golden beach, Green trees and historical various kinds of remark make this area uncommon. Diu was also ruled by the Partugeej. About two kilometres long, calm and beautiful sight of the sea is very nice to look at.

You can see temple on the hill. This Diu fort was built about in sixteen century and was very wonderful. The Diu island is surrounded by sea in three sides. The other fort panicot is in the middle of the sea. You can reach there by launch. You can see light house, Church, Juma mosque and sent Thomas church’s museum. There are so many attractive collections in here. You can be see clearly the blue Arabian sea from here.

How to Reach: You will reach Mumbai by plane or train from Kolkata. The Plane of the east and the west airlines go to Diu from Mumbai. From Vharabal the distance of Diu is about 90 kilometres away by the way of road.

Remember Diu was under Partugeej. So it was a colonial place. So you can see the colonial remarks are here and there. The Shay Kathidral and our lady of the Rojario Charch are the remark of that architecture Jalandhar Beach is also very nice and attractive. More over you will be astonished to see the Temple on the mountain. This Temple is beside the Jalandhar Beach.
